Makeup Blog

For my makeup blog, I decided to do another fly fisherman who also does photography. This blog's individual is Matt Jones from Dallas, Texas. He moved to Fort Collins, Colorado after high school which is where a couple of my uncles who also love to fly fish live. Mr. Jones loves to take pictures of "something fishy" while fishing. He guides tours in Alaska and is an employee of Tailwaters Fly Fishing Co.

Final 30 Pictures

All Pictures were taken with the Nikon Coolpix P90 without flash. All pictures were taken with aperture priority. If I wanted more of the picture in focus, I would increase the AV value. This in turn would force a slower shutter speed (and visa-versa). A slower shutter speed works well when I used a tripod, but not as well when hand holding the camera.

Collin Carlson

I decided to continue my theme of fly fishing and photography for this week's blog. I discovered a fly fisherman and photographer named Collin Carlson. Carlson is an avid trout fisherman who started his addiction with a Nikon FG in Yellowstone. This is parallel with my experience because I also started taking pictures of nature with a Nikon in Yellowstone a couple weeks ago.

JC Forest

I chose to do another fly fishing photographer. JC Forest is from Denver, Colorado and works from there to the Pacific Northwest trying to capture pictures. He tries to make these pictures "connect his audience with the culture and spirit of angling more than in capturing the quantity and size of fish caught." However, I bet that the size of the fish isn't always overlooked.

Adam Barker

I still really like fly fishing and the mountains. Therefore I did another blog about a fly fishing mountain man. Adam Barker is an avid fisherman who tries to recapture the sense of place, time, and emotion of fly fishing with his camera. He has taken photos for magazines such as The Flyfish Journal, USA TodayThe Drake, Adventure Fishing, and others.
